Tara's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

August 14, 2003

Oh, this week has been a rough one. I know I mentioned the beginning of it in my entry earlier 3 days ago. I was hoping it would get better, but the ups and downs have continued.

Watching 2 cranky two-year-olds... I don't even want to go there. Combining it with the 2WW... not a pretty site.

I already chronicled Monday. That was the morning I got uncertain temps, woke with a pounding headache, and began watching Katie again after a week off. Tuesday was 9dpo, a day my temperature always drops, signalling the last day before AF usually arrives. Instead, my temp went up .4 degrees, so I was ecstatic! That day was definitely an up. I was so hopeful, and things went much better all day. Amazing how mood affects your day!

Wednesday, 10dpo, my temp dropped .4 again and I thought, here she comes (AF of course). I was thinking that the 200 mg of B6 I took this cycle extended my luteal phase 1 day, but not long enough to get pregnant. I was grumpy and moody all day. My intuition had failed me... I was certain this was the month! I guess not. Sure enough, I started having some light spotting before I went to bed last night, and when Derek asked me if my temperature had dropped I started to cry. He was really sweet and held me and told me he loved me.

This morning I woke up early, wondering... 11dpo, or day 1 of a new cycle? I popped my thermometer in my mouth and when it beeped I saw in disbelief that it's gone up .4 again! And now, I am looking in even greater shock and awe at a very faint but definitely positive ++ pregnancy test!

Oh my goodness!!!!!
