Happy Birthday Aden!
My little boy is two today. Last night before I went to bed I read his birth story and thought about what an awesome impact he's had on our lives. And I cried, of course, at the sheer wonder of it all. We are so lucky.
In honor of the special day, Aden is wearing his new Thomas the Train t-shirt. We're gearing up for a lunchtime cook-out with family and then a dinnertime pizza party with a few friends. When he woke up this morning, we told him, "Happy Birthday, you're two!" Without letting go of his new Thomas pillow, he said, "Happy Birthday, I two!"
I'll sit down tomorrow and write about his party, his 2-year doctor visit, and all of his new skills.
