Ketherine's Diary Entries

October 31, 2000

Happy Halloween everyone!

It has been so busy around here, I don't know where to begin.

Sebastian had a really bad ear infection a few weeks ago. His left eardrum ruptured and we had to go to the hospital because he was in so much pain. This ear infection came about with no warning signs. He did not have a cold and was not compalaining at all until the night when we went to the hospital. I am now taking him to a chiropractor to get his neck adjusted so that his ears will drain better. My family is very skeptical about this (and so am I I suppose) but it can't hurt. I have started seeing the chiropractor myself because of neck and back pain (from my HUGE nursing breasts perhaps???!!) and it seems to be working.

I have also started my own business selling educational toys, books and software. I am hoping this will provide me enough income to cover my expenses so that I won't have to go back to work. I am really enjoying it so far ... but it has been a lot of work! But I will do anything to stay with my kids. I can't believe I actually put Sebastian in daycare at 5 months of age! I have been home with him since March and I can't imagine being away from him or from Bartholomew.

Sebastian is nursing less now and my breasts are therefore not as full. It took awhile for them to stop being engorged but now I think they are in sync with the boys' needs. I love BFing, but I can't wait for the day when I can have my C cup bra back.

Got to go. Bartholomew calls ...

Lots of Love,
Ketherine
