Okay, I think I am ready to have this baby soon. I have been feeling sharp pains in my cervix which I think might be dilation (but I'm not sure). I am 35 weeks right now but measuring 39 centimeters! I have a doctor appointment on Friday so I hope she will have some input as to when she expects the baby to be born.

My areolas are absolutely HUGE! Bigger than when I had previously mentioned this. When I looked at myself in the mirror yesterday I had to do a doubletake. Were those really my breasts (or should I say beasts ... LOL!) staring back at me? I can't believe the size of them! I think I definitely have to get some more Bravado bras because those are the only type that are comfortable right now.

DS is still not napping but sometimes asks to nurse in the afternoon. This is fine with me. He has also cut down on his nursing at night and really just uses the comfort to help him sleep. He had also stopped nursing during the night too. I let him nurse in the morning if he wants to but that has slowed down too. I am really glad that I waited for him to self-wean. This arrangement has seemed to really work out well for all of us. I just wonder what will happen when the baby arrives ... things could go either way.

It's 8 p.m. right now and DS has been asleep since 6 p.m. I am absolutely exhausted so I will be heading off to bed...
