Our house is completely in shambles! We are having it painted this week which is great because neither my husband or I would have had a chance to paint the nursery before the baby arrives. However, it makes me nervous because all the organizing I did for baby was basically for nothing. I knew far in advance that we were having this done, I guess I just underestimated how messy it would be. On a brighter note, the guy that is doing it is soooo extremely fast! If we were to paint our house (which is 2606 square feet) it would probably take ... oh, I don't know ... months!
DS has quite officially given up his naps and afternoon nursing. He tells me "No nappy! No BooBoo!" now. I can't believe it, he just turned two. But, instead of going to bed at 10 p.m. he's now going down at 7 p.m. What a difference that makes ... for me, I mean. I can actually get things done during the week now! I guess I should enjoy this while it lasts because when the baby comes I know I won't have time to myself for a while!
I'm 34 weeks right now and things are going well. I'm still not feeling well but the baby is healthy and measuring large (38 centimeters). So far I have only gained 17 pounds. With DS I gained 50! What a difference! I am not glad that I was so sick, but it is nice that I won't have so much weight to lose this time.
'Till next week,
Ketherine
