I think I am ready for the baby now, no really... this pregnancy is really taking all my energy. I am having a lot of round ligament pain now. Apparently, you only have this with second and subsequent pregnancies. They are quite sharp but don't really feel like contractions. They feel more like the cramps you get after running or exercising.

My aereolas have also gotten huge! I think they are growing bigger by the day and will soon take over my breasts! But all in all, I am feeling generally better now. Only eight more weeks to go!

DS has been falling asleep without nursing for the past two days. He is still nursing at night but only for a few minutes. He then turns over and goes to sleep on his own... maybe its my HUGE aereolas! HA! I have decided that I would like to try to have him weaned by 2-1/2. I think it would be too much now and he is not ready. I think if I did wean him now, and then he saw the baby nursing, he would be really upset. So I will have to see how it goes!

We had DS's second birthday party on Sunday and he had a great time. It was a Blue's Clues party and he was sooooo excited about that. We did not have any kids come because I thought it may be too overwhelming. We just had a few relatives come and that was enough for him. After about two hours of eating and opening presents he was exhausted (but didn't nap I might add!).

Well, off to bed now... I hope DS stays asleep (he hasn't nursed at night for the past few days!).
