I am now 30 weeks pregnant and definitely still not feeling my best. I am aching all over and soooo tired all the time. I did not feel like this with DS at all. On top of that, DS is having a growth spurt and wants to nurse more. I have been trying to nurse him less but to no avail... he is so persistent. I don't mind, its just that sometimes I just don't have the energy to hold him and my body aches when I try to nurse him lying down. Oh well, only a few more weeks of pregnancy.
I have been in and out of the hospital again. This time it is due to the fact that I have been having contractions. They are not strong enough to dilate my cervix, but they are quite painful sometimes. I have seen two different OBs and both have said that I have an irritable uterus. Basically this means that any touch to my uterus or physical activity on my part may cause contractions. I have to be really careful what I do now and I having been napping with DS as much as possible. I suppose that is a plus to this growth spurt as he has been napping for longer periods!
Hopefully next week will be better. I know the third trimester is hard, but is especially hard when your uterus is sore, you are running after a toddler and you still have morning sickness. Sorry to rant, but I am really feeling lousy lately!
Lots of love,
Ketherine
