I have not had a very exciting week aside from the fact that I got to spend ALL my time with DS. Who would have figured that being a SAHM would be so tiring! I don't know how his daycare provider handled five children! I'm extremely worn out by just one. I wonder how this will change when the baby is born!

I have signed up DS for some classes so that he will still be able to socialize with others his age. One of them is a gym/craft class called Me and My Toddler and the other is swimming lessons. I am thinking of registering him for preschool for the fall. He will be 28 months by then and I think it will do him (and me) a lot of good. He would only go for two days for 2-3 hours at a time so it is not that long. I think he will really like it.

I have started to have play dates with my neighbor and her son. He is 3 months older than DS and they seem to get along really well. It is so nice to have children his age who live so close. In our previous neighborhood there were no young children. I live in a new development now, so there are no playgrounds close to my house (the nearest one is a 20 minute walk), so having young children and other SAHMs close by is a great relief!

My HG (severe morning sickness) has been really bad today and I had to go to the doctor. I have to really try to make sure that I don't let myself get too dehydrated because of this. It is really hard, though, when even juice or water adds to my nausea. Surprisingly, my dietician advised my to eat meat and cheese sandwiches before I go to bed to ease my morning nausea and it seems to work. Who knew? Anyway, I am really tired and really hungry right now so until next time,
