I can't believe Isaiah's birthday will be here on Thursday! It doesn't seem like a year has gone by.

Karen and kids We went to the beach last Tuesday and I slathered sunblock on the kids and on my arms, but stupidly did not put it anywhere else on me. As you can see in the picture, my face was quite bright red! I am never, never, never going to forget to again! LOL! We did have a great time, though! The kids built a fortress and made some friends. I became totally relaxed and John was too. It was fabulous! It wasn't too hot or too cool either! It was just the perfect day, other than getting sunburned.

Isaiah is really becoming a little man with his own opinions. He gets so mad sometimes at things that frustrate him. When he wants something, watch out! =)
