Karen's Diary Entries

Tuesday was Isaiah's 6 month check up, he weighed 17 pounds, 3 ounces!!! He has almost tripled his birth weight (6 pounds even)! He was 26 1/2 inches! I can't believe he has gotten so big. He is changing so fast; it makes me a little sad. I started him on solids about 2 weeks ago. We tried cereal but he hated it, so we went to bananas and he gobbled them up. I have also had him try pears and he likes those, too. I think he didn't like the cereal because it is so bland, which is so different from my milk. Isaiah and his brother seem to be really bonding. Ryan loves to act out all sorts of silliness for him and Isaiah just drinks it up.

We are working hard on doing remodeling in our house but it is slow going. We are almost done with one bathroom, DH and kids have been working on tearing out the flooring which is the last thing in that bathroom to do. It is looking great. Then it is on to the rest of the kitchen. It seems like a lot of work, but if we need to move in the fall it will be easier to sell the house with it looking nice.
