It has been awhile since I last wrote. Being a working mom can get busy sometimes! It is so nice though to know that my little one is here with daddy. My husband has decided to go back to school, so he is being a full time daddy this summer until school starts. AFter that our schedules will be opposite so DS will be with either DH or me. I can't imagine it any other way. It is amazing how quickly Gavin has become attached to his daddy. He suddenly prefers daddy's comfort over mommies. In a way this really bothers me, but in another way (and more so) it is kind of nice to have a break. Now when Gavin gets grumpy, daddy gets to comfort him, while I get to do something else. DH is really enjoying his new full time position and fends off the jokes from his buddies and old co-workers. I had wondered if his male ego would take a hit from no longer being the bread winner, but he has taken to this new lifestyle so well. He is a much better stay at home parent than I was. He gets out frequently and enjoys the company of friends and family often for lunches. I tended to stay too isolated in the confines of the home. I look forward to staying home after DH graduates, but I love watching the relationship between Gavin and my DH grow every day.
