This has been a very interesting week for us here. Trey has been so ill
with what we suspect was the flu for what seems like at least a month. It
hasn't really been quite that long, but when the baby is sick it sure feels
like an eternity! Finally he's better and is back to his wonderfully happy
self!
Lately it seems that he is very easily distracted while nursing. At first, it wasn't very bad, but now the slightest thing happens and he is off looking at something else. It is really only a bad situation when he does it right as my milk lets down. Then things get pretty messy! He is usually not thrilled to get milk up his nose!
I have to tell you that Trey is a BIG baby. He really has been since birth. As I stated in my intro -- he started out weighing in at 9 pounds, 5 ounces, but now he is 21 pounds, 2 ounces. At least, that is what he weighed at his 4 month check up a few weeks ago. He doesn't miss a meal, in other words!
Speaking of not missing a meal, it must be time to eat! Until next week
-Dawn
