Yesterday was daddy's birthday, he turned 34!! I wish I could have done more for him, it was a little dull. He had to work, then we jst went out for a simple dinner with the kids. I did get up at 5am to get him some yummy Krispy Kreme donuts, only they didn't make them fresh, they weren't warm, so that was a bummer(but we still chomped them!!). Then I had kids all day, so I was pretty pooped, but I did stay up until 10:30...that's a record for me, I usually hit the hay around 8:30-9. I finally got Sidney to sing happy b-day to daddy too. It took her all day, she kept acting shy about it. It turned out cute :)
I ran to the store today to get batteries for the kids gifts(we're doing our gift exchange today) and on my way out I got hit, right on Jake's side(and he was with me!!!) I had to run to McDonald's and get 5 happy meals after that, so I was late getting back, poor hubby, had to watch the other 4 kids while I was gone. But that stunk, I got home and had to show him my "crash". But Jake is just fine, she hit us hard enough to really smash in his door, but I don't think he even knew we got hit. Poor guy his first(and hopefull last) crash!
I finally got my xmas cards out today too, ugh!! I like doing them, but I always run out of time it seems. I wrote an update letter in all of them(well, had it copied). We sent an xmas picture of all of us too, but I didn't like how it turned out, I look terrible. I have to do something with my straight hair, my mom said I look like her!!!
Well, the kids are all great. I haven't given Sidney a breathing treatment for a few weeks, until this morning. She woke up coughing so I gave her a quick inhaler treatment. She's been doing great for awhile. I'm still giving Jake his at night, he's just about sleeping through too. Most nights, he sleeps until 3am then nurses and goes back to sleep, but a few times a week he'll sleep straight through. Our humidifier broke though and his nose has been clogging up again, I hope we can get a new one soon!! The kids both have their well-baby appt's coming up, can't wait to see how big they are.
Well, we're all looking forward to Christmas next week, I'm as excited as the kids I think. We're having my family over for dinner that day, it should be fun. Well, I better run, we're decorating cookies this afternoon(after nap) so I better get organized(all 5 kids are here today). HUGS to everyone, Merry Christmas, and happy nursing-Chanda :)
