Chanda's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

October 24, 2000

Well, my almost 32 week OB appointment went fine. I gained another 8 pounds, bringing my total up to 35 pounds now!! I gained 41 with Sidney, so I only can gain another 6 pounds, yeah right!! But things are fine, keeping me on the Terbutaline, but I've only been taking about one pill a day since it's giving me headaches/migraines. I thought I was starting labor last night though, I was menstral cramping and my back was killing me. I just laid in bed and moaned with each contraction, which were still inconsistent (averaging between every 3 to 15 minutes). But I woke up this morning fine, no cramping. So we'll see. I just hate waiting for "that moment" because you have no idea when it's going to be, or if it's the true thing when something does happen. But I'm getting close, maybe 4 to 6 weeks more. I get an ultrasound in two visits, so four weeks, that will be exciting. I want to check one more time to be sure they still think it's a boy ... I just still have a feeling.

My Aunt Sue is coming out this weekend for a visit from Nebraska. She's my dad's sister, I just met all of them about four years ago. So it will be nice to have her here, I get to know her a little more each time she comes out.

I also have my shower coming up. I went ahead and asked for one, even thought my MIL thinks I'm being greedy by doing so. I want a party, is that so wrong?? It will be in two weeks, and we're having a football party afterwards, so this apartment will be packed! It will be fun, though.

OK, I need to run, the potty calls!!!! HUGS to all and happy nursing!!
Chanda :)
