Chanda's Diary Entries

September 13, 2000

I need to make this short; I got hit with a migraine today. I took my meds but need to wait for them to kick in. I've been so tired lately, but unable to sleep. I wake up constantly to pee at night, then can't get back to sleep. I woke at midnight and was up until 6 a.m.!! Last night I was sleeping pretty OK, but then was awakened by Sidney snoring around 4 a.m. She was snoring soooo loud!! I thought at first it was hubby, even reached over to pop him, but he had fallen asleep on the couch. I tried rolling Sidney over but nothing worked -- she just snored away.

I think I'm off tomorrow (from watching kids) and so is hubby. We will probably meet my family for dinner, pizza ... yummm!!

I applied to work weekends at Babies 'R' Us, had an interview on Monday. I'm still waiting for their call, but he wanted me to take a position in the accounting area, counting drawers and such. I guess the gal back there is due in November. I told him I was due in December, though, so I don't know what will happen. The good thing about me is that I won't need six weeks off. It was nice getting it with my last job, but it's not necessary, especially if I'm only working two days a week. Maybe about 10 days will do it. I remember being sore for about 10 days, and then felt tons better. But the extra money will be nice, especially around Christmas. I hope I get a discount, too ... even on diapers would be great!!!

I have an OB appointment Thursday; I'll let you know how it goes. I'm going to discuss my Braxton Hicks, as they are pretty bothersome. But that's about it this week. I hope all is well, and happy nursing!!!
