Chanda's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

July 31, 2000

I thought I'd better get this written for the week. I start with four day care kids soon!! They are all part time, so I don't think I'll have more then three at a time, but finally, some work for me!! I get the 6-month-old boy tomorrow (and I'm happy to say his mom is nursing him, so I'm going to offer lots of support to her), that should be fun, having such a little one around. Might be good practice for Sidney.

My little one is kicking up a storm right now, must know I'm talking about her/him. I'm 19 weeks now, seems to be going OK, a few aches and pains here and there. I wish it could go a little faster though. I know so far, looking back it seems fast, but it's really slowed down recently. I think I'm anxious for the ultrasound, still have to wait three weeks, ugh!!!

I have my 10-year reunion this coming weekend, oh won't that be fun (sarcasm!!). My friend Karin is flying up from Texas and really wants me to go with her, so if I backed out, she'd kill me. I just hate worrying about what I'm going to wear, and will I look fat (which I do, don't really look prego yet, still that half-way point). Oh well, I better just enjoy it, and hopefully it will pass soon enough!

Sidney is doing well. Her and hubby have been taking advantage of the pool. I think it's good time for them to be alone (but I always tag along to watch!!). One of these days I'll just stay home and let them go, not like I couldn't use the rest. But she does well in the water, not real afraid anymore, even jumped a little off the side to her daddy. She's so darn cute in her swim suit, I wish I looked that cute in one!!

Well, I think that's about it for the week. Oh, Sidney went to her first parade and petting zoo, got it all on tape, she had fun. OK, HUGS to all and happy nursing!!
