Chanda's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

July 24, 2000

I am sooooo tired!!!! This move yesterday wore me out and I didn't do anything really. My job was packing and unpacking, but I hurt like I was the one carrying the couch up four sets of stairs, goodness!! I think every part of my body is swollen, and there are some parts I won't even mention. Poor hubby too, he's complaining about his back and legs, and here I am, I bet he's just cringing when he hears me.

But I am all moved, a nice two bedroom apartment, on the third floor, with AIR, and it is so nice to have air when you're prego! I've been busting my tushy, I'm basically unpacked already, I have to hang up about five boxes of clothes, but then I think I'm done. No wonder I hurt, I bet we had about 60 boxes total (if not more). But I had to hurry, I have two day care interviews tomorrow, so I needed everything set up and put away.

I still need to go through and babyproof everything, but they'll understand that. I hope the interviews go well, I'd have three kids, just part-time, but at least it's something. I think Sidney would really like some playmates around here. I can tell she gets so bored sometimes. Poor dear.

Sidney is doing well, helping me unpack and spread everything around. She was so wound up today, didn't take a nap and fought me at bedtime. I hope she does better tomorrow. She's still not nursing, had tried to a few times, but I think it's too late now (I'm afraid it would hurt if she did). So if I'm changing or something, she'll touch them and hug them, but then I have to tell her no if she tries to put one in her mouth, then she'll just hug them again. I bet she continues nursing when my next is born, with all that milk she'll be at me all the time. Oh well, we'll see what happens.

Oh real quick, we didn't get the ultrasound last week, he's going to wait until our next appointment, so I have to wait four more weeks. Oh well, maybe it will pay being patient. OK, many hugs and happy nursing!!
