Well, Sidney weaned, she hasn't nursed now for about 10 days. I do miss it terribly, at night or at nap, now we just lie down and snuggle a little until she drifts off. She doesn't even attempt to nurse. In the shower she'll grab my breasts still and laugh, but that's it. She still uses them for comfort though, if she falls or something, I'll go pick her up and her hand goes down my shirt or over to a little mole I have on my collarbone, I guess touching one of them makes everything better.
She seems to be getting so much bigger now, all grown up almost. That part makes me sad, how she's depending more on herself, but it happens to all of them at some point. My little peanut :)
I've been busy packing, two more weeks, yeah!!! I just can't wait to move, it's all I think about. Our landlord is showing our place tomorrow morning, so I'm trying to straighten up all my boxes and clean up a bit. I'm too tired though, whew!! I got the Elmos on Sidney's walls painted over, but I made a bigger mess doing that, oh well, right!?!?!
Sidney threw up on me in the grocery store today, it was so gross!! She was acting fine afterwards, so it must have just been a fluke, but boy it stunk, it was all over my shirt and the floor. The poor checker was about ready to pass out I think!!!
Our Fourth was good, Sidney was so darn cute. I had her on my lap, under a blanket and we watched fireworks from our yard. After each firecracker would explode in the sky, we'd hear this little "oooooo" and then we'd laugh until the next one. Then she fell asleep right before the finale. It was a nice night.
Okay, I think that's about it, I have to baby-sit next week, so I'll be a little busy, unless they nap at the same time, yeah right!!! Many hugs and happy nursing :)
