Oh what a busy week, I'm pooped!!!! This day care thing is really making me think twice, in fact, I put in a call to my old job! I may go back part time and not do day care anymore. I just hate working my butt off and getting paid nearly nothing!! And the parents are starting to take advanage of me...dropping off early, picking up late, for the same money! They better be careful or they're going to find themselves with no daycare soon!! But we'll see what happens. If I could work 3 evenings a week and one weekend day, I just may do it!!
Well, the kids are fine, I do wish they'd sleep more though...well, mostly Jake! I just don't get him, he just does not like to sleep, at night or during the day. He will go to bed around 7pm and sleep until 11 or 12, but after that he wakes every 1-2 hours to nurse, sometimes 4-8 times a night...then wants to get up at 5:30am!! UGH!!!!!! During the day he'll only sleep 30-60 minutes at a time(and maybe 3-4 times a day at that). How can I get him to sleep more, I'm becoming a zombie!!?? He'll be 5 months old in 2 days, I think it's time he starts sleeping better!! I've been trying to stick a pacifier in his mouth when he wakes to nurse, but that makes him sooooo mad, oh my!!! Not sure what else to do!
I've been slowly searching the papers for a house to rent. I just hate living in an apartment anymore. Being suck inside all the time, no yard, heck, there's not even a park around here. Sidney is just totally obsessed with going "bye-bye" anymore, drives me crazy! But I can't blame her, I want out of here most the time too. I hope we can find something we can afford, our lease is up Aug 1st.
Jake is doing well, getting very big I tried to carry him in my front pack tonight, about killed me!! I'm packing that thing away!! He can sit if you put his hands on his legs, and he LOVES that jumpy chair that hangs in the doorway!!! Oh, he's also started ceral and baby food. I've been giving him oatmeal cereal(didn't like rice) in the morning, but he's not a big fan(he really hates if I mix it with formula) so instead of cereal again in the evening, I just tried bananas last week(made him gassy!!) and then sweet potatoes tonight(loved those!!). It's funny though, everytime I put him in the highchair to eat, he has to poopy, every time!!! Here I am trying to get the spoon in his mouth and he's grunting away...little goof!!! But his poops have gotten alot more frequent since starting solids. Went from one every 4-5 days to 2-3 a day again. And boy are they blow-outs!!! Well, I think that's about it. I was finally able to get an entry done for a change....both kids are crashed in bed early tonight...oh great, that means they'll be up early too, ughhhhh!!! HUGS to all and happy nursing-Chanda :)
