p>Well, Jake tried cereal last Thursday!! He gobbled down about as much as the 10 month old that I watch eats!! But, we have come to find he does not like formula(like mixed in with the cereal) nor does he like rice cereal. So we're mixing a little juice with oatmeal cereal now, and he's doing great. We'll proably try this for a few weeks and then on to baby food. The cereal has really helped him have more bm's. The doc said it might, since they got so sparingly while nursing(just absorbing everything!!).I haven't been feeling the best the past few weeks. It was getting hard to eat, felt nauseous and sick all the time. Doc said I was having reflux and colon spasms, so he gave me some meds to help and I've been able to eat again. I have to use the anti-spasmatic med sparingly though, with nursing, they aren't sure if it would be harmful. So I'm real careful with it. Jake does deal with bad gas attacks, and when I do take the med, it doesn't seem so bad, so maybe it's helping him too?? I'll have to ask the doc about that one.
Sidney is doing well, she's pretty much potty trained now. I put a pull-up on her if we leave the house or at bed time, but other then that, she's doing it herself!! It really was pretty easy, once she knew what "going potty" meant. She went to the dentist today, did great too. no problems yet, has a narrow jaw and big teeth(like me) though, so will need some straightening when she's older. I just want to make sure she doesn't end up with a bunch of cavities(like me) so we brush and floss all the time!! Well, I better run, my pumpkin is up already(these darn 1 hour naps!!) HUGS to all and happy nursing-Chanda :)
