Chanda's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

April 17, 2001

Okay, got everyone asleep for nap finally. Really everyone is pretty good, except my kids!!! Sidney keeps throwing fits at naptime, like we don't go through this everyday...enough already!!!
Jake is doing well, no cold right now (yeah!!) He's nursing while I type, he loves to do that. Alot of the gals on his board (the born in December board) are starting cereal already. I guess I just think it's too early. Breastfeeding is the best for him right now, he's gaining great...has pudgy legs, butt and belly!! He'll be having a well-baby appt soon, I'm curious how much he weighs now. I've been picking up size 3-6 months clothes for him for spring. All his winter pj's are getting to short, his toes reach all the way to the end. He's also in a size 2 diaper now. What's weird is he's changed his bm pattern. He was going about 6 bm's a day and then all of a sudden 2 weeks ago he stopped and now he goes about once every 3 days. That's weird, since with Sidney, she still goes several times a day, I'm used to changing lots of poopies, but not wiht him I guess!
Our Easter was pretty mellow, my mom came over for a few hours that morning and then we went to the park. Helped Sidney fly her Elmo kite and then visited with some friends that were there. We did go out to dinner that night, a place called Joe's Crab Shack, it was fun!!! About every 15 minutes the waiters would all start dancing and singing, Sidney loved it! Well, that's about it for updates. We're all doing well, Sidney and daddy have colds still (I wonder if they'll ever go away!!??) Okay, better run, hugs to all and happy nursing!! Chanda :)
