Hello again!! Wow this week has flown by, been very busy again! Well, getting closer to my child care license. I finally got in touch with my case worker and I have an orientation next Tuesday morning, then I can sign up for my home inspection...yikes!! I can't wait until I get licensed, but the home inspection is making me a bit nervous!! We rent our house, well, actually a duplex and it's not the prettiest thing, but I've been trying to clean it up without blowing to much of our own money. I think I've done a pretty good job so far, but we'll have to see if the inspector thinks so too.

I have an ad coming out in our town paper this Friday. I just said I was opening soon and to R.S.V.P. now. Hopefully I'll get a few calls and can start getting some kids lined up. I only want to have 4 kids, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it won't be too hard filling those spots.

We went to Toys ‘R’ Us last Friday and dropped $650!!! Sidney looked like one spoiled little girl in our cart (actually 3 carts!) but it was all stuff for the day care, so she'll have to share everything. We got a dinosaur sandbox and a Little Tikes 8-in-1 gym. Then I had to meet state requirements on educational toys. I have to have push toys and pull toys, building blocks, dolls, books, musical toys, and on and on. Sidney's favorite is the Little Tikes picnic table. It's a plastic picnic table I'm using as the kids lunch and art table. I've been letting Sidney eat her lunch and dinner here, she thinks that is too cool!!

Sidney has her 15 month check up next Thursday, so we'll see if she's gained any weight. I have a feeling she has, she does seem slightly chunkier then last month. I hope so, her weight has been making me very nervous for a while now. She was 19 pounds at her last visit, which was for a little cough she had, that was about six weeks ago.

The nursing cut-back is going better. I was trying to cut Sidney back to three nursing sessions a day. The first day was the worst because she was so used to nursing about nine times a day. I feel a little mean doing this, but I just don't know how else to get ovulating again. Back in January I had cut Sidney back to try and bring on my AF, and it worked, but then she got sick and I let her nurse as much as she needed.

Once I do finally become pregnant, I'll let her nurse whenever again, but until then, she's doing pretty good. She only wakes once at night now, too. Her first feeding is every morning around 6 a.m. If she wakes before then, I soothe or cuddle her back to sleep. It's been actually working, just rubbing or patting her back as we snuggle, and she's back asleep. Then at nap and bedtime are the other two feedings. She's napped already today, a little early for her, but she was very tired.

I'm watching a Baby Story as I type this, and I keep getting sidetracked. I just love that show, makes me want to get prego so bad!! Besides this web site, I learned a lot about birth from that show. It really prepares you since you see so many different things happen to these women. Okay, I better run. Hope all is well and happy nursing to all you wonderful mom's!!!

P.S. I just wanted to share...Sidney was on our bed watching CinderElmo yesterday, laughing her head off!! I was in the hall watching her cracking up at her, she is so funny!!! HUGS :)
