Chanda's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

March 15, 2000

I'm going to have to make this a short entry. Our VCR is in the shop and I can't run our WebTV through our TV. I've got it looped through our video camera, so all I have is that little screen to see and check my spelling (I'm doing it with one eye closed!!)

I had my class for my daycare license last weekend. Boy, was it neat, I did learn a lot and now I'm even more excited to get going on this. I have my CPR class this weekend and then all I need is my walk-through from the county. I've been trying to get my place ready, all organized, sorted, labeled and cleaned. I'm getting a small loan so I can buy the outside equipment (jungle-gym sandbox). I just hope I pass the walk-through.

Sidney is dong great. Her cough is gone and she's feeling great. Eating a little better too. She's really been nursing up a storm though, I hope it doesn't interfere with our TTC this month. We may have hit it, but I have about 7 days until I find out. I think I'm going to have to figure out a way to nurse Sidney when I'm watching other kids. She always nurses to sleep for nap, so I wonder how I'm going to work that one. Hopefully the other kids will just lay down for nap time, then I can take care of Sidney, but I suppose I'll have to wait for that first day to see how everything goes. I hope I get an infant who's mom nurses and then maybe I can help her with pumping and all that, I'd like to think I could be some support for a new mom some day.

Well, I better cut this short, I can't even proofread this, can barely make out any of the words, so hopefully by next week our VCR will be fixed. Or maybe I can use my grandma's WebTV?? Anyway, HUGS to all and happy nursing!! :)
