Chanda's Diary Entries

March 12, 2001

Okay, I'll try to do this again, with Jake nursing on my lap!! We got Jake's 2 month pics done last week. They'll be good, he was sure smiling in them. I guess I need to update our family photo now though, since were a family of 4 now!!
Jake is doing great. Nursing great, he's been a pretty easy little baby. Sidney cried more, I think she had some colic, we'd have to put her in her stroller in the bathroom with the shower running some evenings. but Jake just hangs out. He does get fussy when he's tired, but I can lay him in bed and nurse him off to sleep, no problems. He loves to nap in the swing now too, which is nice, he didn't like the swing at first. I tried a new pacifier, the "soothie" he seems to like it a little, will suck on it if I hold it in his mouth. So I ordered the vanilla scented ones, those sounded yummy!
Sidney is doing pretty good. She's totally on 2% milk now and no problems. Her poops are still pretty squishy though, I wish they'd bulk up a bit more. We're trying to start potty training. I bought her 3 pairs of Blue's Clue's panties and we practice wearing them for a few hours before bed. I think she used the potty this morning too, I didn't see her, but there was just a little bit in her potty chair. Hope she learns quick, I hate buying diapers for 2!!!
Well, I thought I was going to be busy today with my day care kids, but 2 of them are still out sick!! We'll see about tomorrow though, I should email their mom. Okay, better run, HUGS to all and happy nursing!! Chanda
