Nursing is going well. Jake gained 12 ounces his first week! He sure does a good job too, I got lucky with both my kids there. He's sleeping with me at night, that just makes it so much easier to keep an eye on him, and also to nurse. I have a hard enough time falling back to sleep, so if I can keep movements to a minimum, it helps. We actually have both kids in bed with us, I just never got tired of having Sidney next to me at night. I guess I'm a bit of a worrier, because when I did try putting her in her crib last year (and it was in our room) I couldn't sleep for the life of me, kept jumping up and checking on her! Oh well! My day care kids started back today, sure a tough one juggling all those kids (I'll have 5 in diapers!!!). We'll have to see how it goes, not sure if I'll be able to keep them all. Especially when Jake wants to nurse, lunch needs to be cooked and of course everyone poops at the same time!!
Sidney's b-day party was yesterday, she turned 2!! We had some friends and family over for pizza, it was fun. Of course we had to have Elmo party favors! Sidney came down with a bit of a cold Saturday and while I was nursing Jake she came over and tried to get on the other side. I had a hard time telling her "no" but thought it would be for the best not to start that up again. It was hard because I want what's best for her, but then she is 2 now ... I just hope it doesn't happen often.
Well, that's about it. Hope all is well and happy nursing!! Chanda
