Carmajo's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

December 15, 2002

hold on and letting go simultaneously.
If there are any Providence viewers that was a quote from the show this past Friday night. It is amazing how that holds true even at 9 months old. I am learning I need to let go and let Adrianna grow, learn and explore.

9 month Well-Check

Adrianna's stats
Age: 9 months 7 days
Weight: 21 lbs. 11 ounces
Height: 29 inches
Head: oops for that but she is 95th percentile= big head

Well just a little update on Adrianna

In the past week she has learned to climb the two whoppin' steps from the family room to the kitchen. The dogs now have to guard their water bowl.
In the past few days she has learned to pull herself up to standing on everything.
It is truly amazing how quickly she has caught on to this.

We still have not heard the word "mama", "mommy" or anything that slightly resembles me. I keep telling her that would be the best Christmas present ever...like she can understand me.

Our progress on weaning is going very slowly. I don't expect it to happen overnight. We just started introducing a milk based formula to see if her lil' tummy could digest the milk proteins. We had quit a time when she was first born with blood in her bowel movements for milk in my diet. I am happy to report she is doing well on the Carnation Good Start formula.
She ate mac & cheese for supper last night. She made the biggest mess I have ever seen. We need to just hose her down with the kitchen sink sprayer.

Happy Holidays!

Carmajo & Adrianna
