***Crawling***

My daughter, Adrianna, is the future solider. She is doing the high and low Army solider crawl. She is so funny!
To get the full picture, imagine Adrianna a 22 lb. beautiful lil' girl with a lone pig tail right in the middle of her perfect head moving and grooving all over the family room floor, Aunt Julie's (babysitter) whole house, Aunt Denise's family room and her new favorite room at home, the toy room. She goes from sitting to falling and rolling from side to back, to her tummy and then quickly pulls up her knees while holding herself steadily up with her hands. At this point, Adrianna is all smiles, yelling and making loudest laugh by sucking in her giggling. She then lunges forward with both hands while pulling her body (yes all 22 lbs) foward then she collapses on to her belly. This repeated over, and over and over until she reaches the "ultimate destination" which is usually some sort of paper product. She has given up the ultimate rolling until she bounces into something. She used to chase the dogs around the family room by rolling.

***Pulling herself up!***

Well in the same week, she has also learned how to pull herself up to her knees then up to a standing position. She learns oh so quickly because now when you try to set her down on the floor to do something she wants to stand instead and what a battle that is.

***Changing the diaper & clothes***

Wow, I did not know I would be entering the WWF ring to change a simple diaper or clothes. Adrianna does not like the least bit when we try to change a dirty diaper. I recently changed to Pamper Custom Cruisers from the Pampers Babydry and she has learned how to take her diaper off. I have to move very quickly to get her bottoms on or wrestle her down to reapply the diaper. Every time she pulls the tape loose on the diaper she giggles like she really knows what she is doing. I try to firmly say "No Adrianna!" but she giggles more. Pushover Mommy already, yep! Adrianna has also discovered touching her private area. Now isn't that a little early? Geesh, I freaked out when she stuck her hand in a poopy one! Of course she giggled! Boy, I am learning huh?!

***Breastfeeding***

We are still going full force! I have dabbled in thoughts of weaning her partly because of the two sharp front teeth that popped through a few weeks ago, but much to my disbelief I have decided to wait. I have started making more bottles for Daddy to give her in the evening. I was also wanting to wean to get some rest and alone time. I only work 20 hours a week, right smack in mid day so I can sleep in a bit so I ALWAYS get up with Adrianna to nurse her back to sleep. Well it was getting to be too much. 20 hours a week doesn't seem like much but I also forget to include the 24 hour care I provide to Adrianna (minus time she is with Aunt Julie), the house, husband and two spoiled rotten Boxers I take care of. My outside job may be part time but I work full time. I love my full time job, being a Mommy & Wife but I came to conclusion I needed some ME time. Rob and I struggled for so long to get pregnant now that Adrianna is here I felt like I never wanted to leave her side. Ok, I am a freak, I know! I had made quite a few changes in the past few weeks. I went Christmas shopping alone last night. I actually meet my SIL at Meijers to buy toys for all the kids. I am learning she needs to have alone time with Daddy! I came home from shopping and she was bathed and in her pj's ready for Mommy to nurse her. Daddy played with her till she was pooped!

***A Big Congratulations***

I would like to say Congratulations to Aimee from iparenting Adoption Real Life Diaries. Aimee was a former preconception.com diary writer while we were keeping our TTC diary. I can't be more happier for them. While TTC Aimee kept such a bright, cheery and positive attitude that this miracle could not be more deserved. I can't wait to read the months ahead as she and her dh make the journey to parenthood.

Another Congratulations to Sheryl, Mommy to Gabi on Babies Today diaries. Sheryl and her dh are expecting a sibling for Gabi next summer.

***What is next for our family...***

There has been so many pregnancies announced over the past few weeks. Dawn and Christina from Babies Today Diaries are expecting. Dawn & Christina were both on Preconception.com diaries while we were. When all the pregnancies started popping up I thought, when do they have time to conceive another baby??? I guess the last 8 months have been overwhelming for both myself and Rob. Rob is also going to school full time online for his BA. We have been SO busy I just never thought of TTC anytime soon. Well just the other day, Rob mentioned he thinks this summer would be a good time to start trying for a brother or sister for Adrianna. TOTAL SHOCK! I still can't believe those words coming from my husband. With my high risk concerns and infertility factors we have been advised not to wait to long. This summer we will be jumping back into the TTC ocean.

***New pictures***

I am tuning the fine art of cropping pictures to add some vacation photos to Adrianna's webpage. I can't promise it will happen overnight but stop by Adrianna's Babiesonline webpage.

Have a great weekend!

Carmajo & Adrianna!
