Carmajo's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

October 16, 2002

This entry is going to be very short and to the point. Adrianna has decided to stop sleeping. I mean that! Her is her typical schedule the past few days.
7:00-7:30 bath time
8:00 cereal & fruit (sometimes) mostly nursing.
8:30-9:00 off in lala land snoozing
9:00 but her in her crib asleep
midnight awake up to nurse
3:00 awake crying hard
5:00-6:00 awake again crying

We are very lucky to have the three hour time between 9-midnight. We even had a day this past weekend where she was up every 2 hours on the dot. I have tried EVERYTHING!
Motrin for the teething, no help.
I have let her semi-cry it out! I only let the small moany-talky cry because once she hits the hard crying it echoes throughout the house and she will be up for hours. It is just easier to get her up then and nurse her back to sleep. I can't hardly believe she is hungry because she is nursing 6 times a day plus 1 bottle at the sitters. She also has at least two small jars of babyfood for supper. She usually has cereal & fruit for breakfast and bedtime. She has also started eating babyfood while at the sitters. HELP.....................

To make things worse we leave for California a week from tomorrow. I am so worried the traveling and time difference will mess her sleep up even more.

One idea, she has had 3 ear infections in a 4 month period so I am going to call the pediatrician today to see if I should have her ears checked. I really don't think she is sick because she acts fine other than the horrible sleeping.

On a brighter note, WELCOME to all the breastfeed.com diary writers. I hope with more active diarys we can liven up this website.

Onto another day of work!

Hugs,

Carmajo and Insominac Adrianna
