Carmajo's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

April 23, 2003

Adrianna is now approaching 14 months!
She is battling her 9th ear infection and waiting to have an evaluation from an ENT for tubes. Like Jenn B wrote in Sam's diary, I feel so guilty when we go to the pedi and they find two badly infected ears.
Adrianna's only symptom is a slowly decreasing appetite and some playing with ears. (Knock on wood..) She has been sleeping through the night for awhile now with only the occasional night waking.
A new discovery, Adrianna has a peanut allergy. I gave her a slice of bread with peanut butter and she broke on in rash very quickly. She looked like a teenager with raging acne. It was everywhere! I quickly gave her Benadryl and it cleared up pretty quick. We are also going to an Allergist to confirm the allergy when she is feeling better.

NO MORE FORMULA.....Yeah! That will sure leave a few extra bucks in my old pocketbook. We finally got her on vitamin D milk and she absolutely LOVES her milk.
We went through a gallon of milk in less than 5 days. I am not complaining!

WALKING....Where did the crawling days go?
They are long gone! Adrianna went from crawling to walking to running in a matter of 2-3 days. She is the most clumsy baby I have ever seen. I can almost predict everytime she is going to fall. I gave up on trying to catch her. She just boops back up and goes on with her business.

Well I hate to cut this short but I need to get some housework done before bedtime. There is NEVER enough hours in the day!

Love,
Carmajo & Adrianna
