On the eve of her 11 month birthday Adrianna slept 7 hours in a row. This is the longest stretch of sleep in her short 11 months of life. The next night she slept 10 hours in a row. I was estatic!
My baby girl is sleeping! To be honest she is a whole new baby! It's amazing what a good nights sleep with do for her, Mommy and Daddy. Rob heard these words from my mouth for the first time..."I am ready to have Adrianna a brother or sister!" I think I surprised him considering I was running on fumes in the sleep department for so long. Just a few nights of sleep made me realize it will happen she just needed to do it her own way. None the less, we are going to wait to start TTC until this summer.
**Teething**
How long does it take for 8 teeth to break through? At her 9 month well-check the pediatrician could see 8 teeth working there way in but NONE have appeared yet.
We are having major teething symptoms though. DIARRHEA out the ying yang! No kidding I changed her diaper 18 times yesterday! Not ever diaper was dirty but her poor lil' bum was soooo sore I checked it alot! I have resorted to scouring the internet for a magic tooth dance, you know like the rain dance. I would like these teeth to hurry up! Any ideas? just joking!
**Walking**
Not yet, but is only a matter of time. She is really in to standing on her own now. She fascinates herself by just standing there not holding onto anything. She is so serious while doing it. You can really tell she is concentrating so hard. When she falls it is the end of her world. She will crawl over to Mommy for some lovin' then off to play so more.
**Being a BIG girl**
Adrianna went to her first birthday party at McDonalds. Her cousin, Isabella turned 3 on February 12th. Happy Birthday Bella!
She invited all her cousins for a Happy Meal, cake and ice cream. Adrianna sat with all the kids acting so big. She really amazed the other Mom's by eating a chicken nugget. She nawed it with her two lone teeth. Of course, she loves french fries. This was her first trip to McDonalds and I am sure it won't be the last.
**Weaning**
Have you heard the phrase..."one step forward two steps back?" Well that is our progress. She will take a bottle for everyone but me lately. This teething battle is winning out so I am not pushing the weaning. We have plenty of time!
Before I finish this entry I just have one question, does anyone read my diary?
I am contemplating closing my diary. There really is not the "traffic" on the breastfeed diary's that I had on preconception and pregnancy diary.
