Sam is breaking in his last teeth (except for his two year molars, which of course aren't
in yet). He has been very, very clingy. Even in his sleep, it's difficult to get out of his
grasp. I have been on vacation this week, and he has really taken advantage of having me
around. He has nursed CONSTANTLY. I'm sure he has gained weight. It has been so nice to spend
so much time with him. I'm sure it will be harder on me than him, when I have to return to
work on Monday.
Sam has been sharing his milk, a.k.a. "aahem". We still have no idea why he calls it that.
Anyway, he has a couple dolls that he has become very attached to. A few times when he has
wanted to nurse, he has brought one of the dolls to me and requested that they get to nurse.
It's hilarious! He always lets the doll go first. He'll hold the doll's face to my breast,
and with his mouth make eating noises. Then he'll nurse, if only for a minute. It's sweet to
see that he likes to share -- especially with his most valued possession -- his milk!
