Amy's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

May 16, 2000

Sam has improved so rapidly, he has left us behind! Kenny and I barely know our names, but Sam got to come home today! Starting this morning, he was allowed to have breast milk every two hours, and can nurse as long as he wants to. He's so full of Pedialyte, though, he isn't going crazy at the breast like I thought he would.

By the time we left the hospital, he had won all of the nurses hearts! He's such a flirt. That's how we knew he was really feeling better!

This afternoon after we got home, he vomited again, and we called the doctor immediately. He said that he wasn't concerned, and that Sam might even vomit some more, but to just ease back into his normal diet as slowly as possible, and he really feels that Sam is over this.
