Sam is starting to really get the hang of eating solids. Most people can't believe it -- that he is almost 15 months and barely
eating solids. He is perfectly healthy, and although we weathered a lot of criticism, I'm glad we stuck with our own feeding
schedule. I'm so amazed at how fast it's all going, even at our own slow pace!
He's so cute I just can't stand it. I make him mad because I pester him so much, but I can't seem to keep my hands off of him!
He is already asserting his independence, and it's difficult to let him go. He's less baby every day.
He talks up a storm -- some words we can understand, most we cannot! But you can tell that he knows exactly what he is
saying. One of the two billion cute things he does is when he tickles you on your neck, and he tries to say "tickle tickle." He
says "Mo" (Elmo), "la ya" (love ya), mama and dada, of course, boat, "moo" (moon), "mih" (milk), "mayma" (mammaw), and
"ap" (pap), but his absolute favorite word is "BAD!" and he says it very clearly!
Since he has started walking more, he has been falling more. When he hurts himself, he shakes his finger at whatever hurt him
and says through his tears, "bad bad bad bad!" It's so funny! Kenny taught him this, for sure. Over the weekend, EVERYTHING
was bad! He just walked around the house shaking his little finger at everything and proclaiming it "bad!"
Just when I think he has maxed himself out on being cute, he comes up with something new!
