July 1, 1999
July 18The last 3 months have gone by so quickly. I still can't believe we have twins. It's finally sinking in that they're really here to stay. Liberty is doing great. We're supposed to be watching for signs of acid reflux caused by her surgeries, but she doesn't spit up or seem uncomfortable after eating. They are both nursing like pros still! I'm feeling like I have more energy now. I drink almost a gallon of water every day and I can definitely feel the difference if I don't drink or eat enough. Those babies need everything I take in! In the beginning I didn't really realize how much I needed. When we would drive 45 minutes to see Libby in the hospital I would be starving and dying of thirst by the time we got there, even if I ate right before we left. I quickly learned to bring water and bananas with me wherever I go.
