Lena and Liberty have really been enjoying the wonderful weather we've been having. We have a swingset that they share with their cousins next door and they absolutely love swinging in the baby swings. We've also been going for a lot of walks lately since we have a new double jogging stroller that the girls received as a birthday gift. I'm so glad we have it. Our tandem stroller was so jerky and hard to maneuver. Any little bump would make that stroller get stuck. I think our new stroller could run over a small car without slowing down. We love it!
I haven't really written much about nursing lately. I think that's because it's been the same thing from day to day. It's so easy. Lena and Liberty are getting so active so I'm glad to be able to nurse them to have a nice, calm break for the three of us.
They are also definitely experiencing some toddler frustration from time to time. For instance, Lena likes to throw a fit when she can't fit the round shape sorter block into the square hole. Not long ago when that would happen, she would just try to put the block in her mouth and be perfectly content. Liberty likes to throw a fit when she can't get the top off of the shape sorter canister in order to empty all of the blocks out. She used to just shake it and be glad that it made such a loud noise. Their play standards are definitely changing. Usually I can see the frustration building and try to help them avoid it. But if I don't catch it until they're throwing a full blown fit, nursing calms them right away. It's so nice.
