Abigail's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

March 22, 2000

Lena and Liberty are both trying to stand up on their own a lot lately. I don't know what I'm going to do when they start walking. Hopefully, the first floor of our house will be done enough for them to be able to play down there, otherwise, this upstairs is going to be very cramped. Bryan is drywalling right now, and he said that we should be ready to paint in about two weeks! After that, we have to sand and refinish the wood floors. As soon as the floors are ready, Lena and Liberty can play on them! The house will be far from finished, but at least there will be a little more room for the girls to roam. We also have to get a fence ASAP. We live on a corner lot, so there are two roads very close to our house. I don't think it will be fun to try to chase Lena while Liberty runs in the other direction. So before they learn to walk and run, we have to get a fence.

Other than the fact that Lena and Liberty are trying to stand up, we have had a pretty boring week. It's been cold and rainy so we're suffering from cabin fever once again. We all have a runny nose, so that's no fun. My sister had it first, so I had the bright idea to expose myself to her germs so my breastmilk would have the antibodies in it so Lena and Liberty wouldn't get it. Well, they don't have it as bad as I have it, so I guess it worked. I just didn't really think I would get it. I don't know what I was thinking!
