Pro Flo Perfect
The EXPRESSLY YOURS Pro Flo by CAMP

My pursuit of quality breast pumps has led me to international health care company CAMP Healthcare and their EXPRESSLY YOURS line of breast pumps. For a one-month period in January 2003, I tested the Pro Flo breast pump, a hospital-grade rental available through breast pump distributors, lactation consultants, medical supply stores and hospital breast pump rental stations.
My Pro Flo came with two breast funnels: the patented Soft-Cup and a traditional hard cup. "Great," I thought. "More pieces to thoroughly confuse me." As the working mother of three small children, I have few precious moments to spare assembling breast pumps.
In a matter of seconds, my frustration turned into pure bliss when I realized I could assemble this pump without so much as glancing at the directions. It is quite possibly the most straightforward product on the market. The bottles screw on, the tubing plugs in, and the funnels fit on without any extra parts. It's really assembly as easy as 1, 2, 3.
Of course, I tried the Soft-Cup first. I read that it was "hands-free," because the soft silicone would actually adhere to my breasts. They weren't kidding.
So there I was, legs kicked up, direction book in hand, and two breast funnels sticking to my chest (single pumping is possible). It was a gentle compression, and milk freely flowed from my breasts. Letdown came at around the five-minute mark. At the end of my first 15-minute pumping session, I had collected 6 ounces of liquid gold.

I used the Expressly Yours pump in the hospital with my first kid and it is awesome. The soft cups were much more comfortable than hard cups, and the milk output was much better than was I was able to get with my PumpInStyle. But I was never able to find a personal pump, only the hospital's rental pump. I would be excited if they made a personal version.
