The Whittlestone Breast Expresser

I wouldn't call myself a breast pump connoisseur. Until recently, my experiences with pumping breast milk had been limited and slightly less than horrific. After talking with other nursing moms, I realized the horrific part wasn't unique.
Pumping moms are sinking thousands of dollars into an industry that is laden with sub-standard products. So before another breastfeeding mom wastes her money on a worthless pump, I am going to share my experiences with some of the top breast pumps on the market, starting with the Whittlestone Breast Expresser.
Over the years, this original design has been updated in order to meet the demands of a modern market. The result is the Whittlestone Breast Expresser, which I used over a 30-day period in November 2002.
My first impression of the pump came as the result of a hip, carrying bag that housed the pump and all of its components. Sleek, black and super stylish, right down to the high-polished silver zipper tabs, buckles and designer nameplate. I found myself wondering if I could use the bag for other things once pumping was no longer a part of my life.
But could such a stylish container house a hardworking, productive, mean, breast milk pumping machine?
