(Berkley Pub Group, 1984) once said, "Breastfeeding ... provides a smooth transition from pregnancy to mutual independence. The baby has a close, loving start; his mother reaps innumerable benefits, many of which are so subtle that they cannot be described." He is right. I am trying my best to describe these subtle benefits and still wonder if I am getting close to describing them at all. Perhaps you are one of the lucky ones who understands those feelings, feelings that can be described with only one word. Magic!
